More Cute Pets To Follow On Instagram

Hedgehogs are gaining in popularity as far as pets go and a lot of them, the cutest of the bunch, find themselves on Instagram like Darcy. With 382K followers, Darcy the Flying Hedgehog has become an online celebrity in her own right. With the help of her talented owner, Shota Tsukamoto (a self-proclaimed hedgehographer), Darcy poses with some delightful characters, mostly of the spikey variety.

As an exotic pet, hedgehogs are quiet, clean and hypoallergenic, and relatively easy to look after. They are naturally shy creatures and need regular handling to make them comfortable with their new owners and to create that important bond. They are nocturnal animals and live anywhere from 3 to 5 years.

Jamon The Pig was a surprise Valentine's Day gift for his owner, Andrea Mendes, who lives in Brazil. When Jamon is not posing for photos in a variety of different and adorable costumes, he's starring in TV commercials and music videos. He even has his own cartoon. With over 300K followers on Facebook and more than 58K on Instagram, Jamon is quite the online sensation.

Micropigs were originally bred for medical research and became popular as pets because of their miniature size, plus they are clean, intelligent and can be housetrained. You used to see more of them in cities everywhere but not anymore since the by-laws have changed around keeping farm animals as pets.

With 274K followers on Instagram, Snoopy Babe, an exotic shorthair cat from China, just might be the cutest cat on the Internet. With an adorable pie face, soft, fluffy coat, ringed tail and big round innocent eyes, who wouldn't fall in love with this beautiful creature?

Exotic shorthair cats are calm and gentle by nature, yet curious and playful. They are especially affectionate and loathe being away from their pet parents, preferring to lounge in their laps all day long.

Playful, intelligent, incredibly affectionate, the Chihuahua is a bundle of laughs, something like living with a cartoon character.
