Jamie Dornan
Irish born actor, Jamie Dornan, and male lead in the controversial movie, 50 Shades of Grey, reportedly loves animals. From a very young age, he always wanted to work with animals and become a ranger.
Dornan currently owns a beautiful yellow Labrador retriever by the name of Spinee. While in Belfast this past week, Dornan had to take Spinee to the veterinarian for a tricky surgical procedure. He appealed to his Twitter fans to show their support:
“May I ask one favor? My dog Spinee needs your prayers,” he Tweeted on Thursday. “She just came out of a difficult surgery 20 minutes ago … She is my beloved.”
Dornan continued to tweet about Spinee’s progress as the night wore on:
“With prayers like this I feel confident Spinee will be fine,” he wrote. “Thank you more than you will ever know.”
Spinee is reportedly doing well and on the road to recovery:
Dakota Johnson
Famous for being the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, Dakota Johnson is now even more famous for her breakout role in 50 Shades of Grey.
Dakota has always loved dogs, medium-sized, hairy dogs. You can find pictures of Dakota walking her cute, little dog around town. She goes everywhere with this guy and even travels with him. He looks like a kind of hairy terrier, possibly even a rescue. Dakota has also been seen with her cockapoo in older photos.

Whether you’re a fan of the movie or not, grey cats and dogs are very popular. During Valentine’s Day weekend when the movie was released, many animal rescues and shelters hosted their own 50 Shades of Grey Adoption Campaigns and found loving homes for hundreds of cats and dogs of the grey variety. What a greyt (great!) idea!
