April is National Pet Month in the States, so we thought we’d take a stroll around Beverly Hills to see what’s happening with the celebs and their pets.
Justin Bieber
So Justin Bieber has a new love in his life, a Yorkshire Terrier (by all accounts) that goes by the name of Esther. Bieber posted a pic of the adorable pup on Instagram:
“Say hello to the newest member of the Bieber family #Esther.”
Wherever Justin goes, Esther goes, even if it means taking her to an upscale dinner at Mastros Steakhouse in Beverly Hills or posing for fans. They’re inseparable!
Taylor Swift
Somewhere in London, we assume Lloyds of London, Taylor Swift’s legs are insured for a rumoured 40 million dollars. Is that true? Who knows! But recently, the pop star was joking around about it on Instagram, when she shared a photo of her valuable legs covered in kitty scratches from her beloved Scottish Fold, Meredith.
“Great work Meredith I was just trying to love you and now you owe me 40 million dollars.”
Taylor Swift was later seen out and about, sporting a band-aid with the word, “meOW,” written on it as a joke.
“Couldn’t help but make it into a pun, could I…,” she told her Instagram fans.
Katy Perry
It’s no secret to her fans that Katy Perry is huge cat lover. So it was a bit of a surprise when she introduced a doodle to the family by the name of Butters. This adorable pooch has made many appearances with Katy and goes everywhere with her, even on tour.
Katy said in an interview with People Magazine that “Butters comes everywhere with us. She brings this incredible joy because sometimes it can get incredibly tiring on the road. We love her very much and we treat her very well.”
Butters recently made an appearance with Katy on the Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show press conference on January 29, in Phoenix, and is a regular on Katy Perry’s Instagram. In a recent selfie, Katy poses in her designer Butters pajamas with Butters in her arms. Wait! What?
