Our outer beauty lies in our skin. Everybody wants the healthy beautiful flawless skin. The skin is sensitive and most seen part of the body. Any allergy or infection on the skin is the problem, which can see easily by anyone for instance everybody will know if you are having some sort of skin allergy. Just like human beings, cats also have skin problems.

The cat skin condition describes its overall health. If any skin problem occurs in cat, they start excessive licking, chewing or scratching. Cats can have skin problems due to stress, seasonal changes or a combination of both of them. Pet owner seek vet mostly for skin problems as skin allergies from a cat can also transfer to its master.

Masses: Cat’s skin can get swelling due to different causes. In masses, the skin of cat is also swelled but without biopsies and aspirates, test masses cannot diagnose. Mostly cat skin is swelling due to abscesses. It is a lesion or small bump outside, and large pocket inside having debris and pus. This is very painful for cats but look like a normal small wound. If you see any small wound on your cats, skin and she resist you if you try to touch it immediately go for veterinarian check.

Sores on Ears or Face: Firstly, the small tiny red lesion can appear, but if these tiny spots do not get vanish by its own consult veterinarian. The red spots on cat’s upper lip are rodent ulcer a skin disease referred as an allergy. These sores are cause due to any fungus, viruses, autoimmune disease, bacteria or cancer. Always observe your cat’s skin especially if its colour is white because white colour cats have a higher rate of risk of sores then other cats. Even though they can appear anywhere but they are usually, observe on eyelid, nose, and ears.

Hair Loss: If your cat suddenly starts losing hair, it is something not natural and alerting. The most common reason behind cat hair loss is some sort of infection like ringworm or any kind of stress taken by a cat. In old cats, the hair loss may refer as a systematic disease. It is very hard for a normal man without having the animal knowledge to guess the reason behind hair loss so, it is better to consult a veterinarian.

Allergies: the most common allergies in cats and dogs are an environmental allergy, flea allergy and food allergy. Environment and flea are more common than food allergy.

Dull Flaky Skin: some cats develop an unperfected dull and flaky skin. Overweight cats normally suffer from such type of skin problem. Just like human being cats, skin also required a perfect diet. Cats need omegas 6 and omega 3fatty acids. Fish contain Omega 3 whereas omega 6 is present in some plants. Try to add these foods in a daily meal of cats having dull and flaky skin.
