Pet story of the month contest (May 2015)

We’ve been thinking how to make http://petbooktoday.com more fun and more pet community driven.
How to enable people share the stories and joy they have day to day from and because of their pets? How pets change our lives?
As result of that the “Pet story of the month project” was born.
Do you have a fun story you wound like to share with the world about your pet?
Share your story in three easy steps (see the 3Gs):
- Prepare the story about your pet in a word document and send to info@petbooktoday.com
- In the document include a link to your pet profile at http://petbooktoday.com. (If you have not done so yet, you can register here)
- Be a proud pet of the month (Possibly, see contest rules). And cash a check of $100 (Possibly, see contest rules) or have petbooktoday donate $100 to your pet charity/organization of choice (We would love to do that! Because we love pets and we understand that money is not everything in life! But ultimately it’s up to you what you want to do with that $100.)
The contest rules:
- We ask that you respect copyrights, trademarks, and other legal rights.
- Before sharing a story with or on http://petbooktoday.com, please be sure you have the right to do so.
- For content that is covered by intellectual property rights, like photos and videos (IP content), you specifically give us the following permission, subject to your privacy: you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any IP content that you submit to, post on or in connection with Petbooktoday (IP License). This IP License ends when you notify http://petbooktoday.com via email at info@petbooktoday.com. You must do so before the contest ends (see date end of this contest). By doing so disqualify yourself from participating in this contest. After this contest has ended (see date end of this contest) all submitted stories permanently become IP of petbooktoday.
- We can remove any content or information you submit or post on Petbooktoday if we believe that it violates this Statement or our policies
- The story must be submitted in a word document.
- The story must include a high quality photo of your pet. The story may include more that one photo.
- It is permitted to include links to YouTube videos.
- Our content reviewers will review your story before it will be published. The submitted content must not contain:
- explicit nudity;
- sexual activity or sexual intercourse;
- hate speech, which includes content that directly attacks people or pets based on their:
- Race,
- Ethnicity,
- National origin,
- Religious affiliation,
- Sexual orientation,
- Sex, gender, or gender identity, or
- Serious disabilities or diseases
- Violence:
- sadistic pleasure or to celebrate or glorify violence against pets (or people);
- One the story has been reviewed it will be published at http://petbooktoday.com
- You will receive the link to your story via email.
- You may share the link on facebook and other media.
- The address information in your pet profile at http://petbooktoday.com will be used to mail the check of $100 to the winner of the contest.
- The winner can also choose to donate the $100 to a pet charity of his/her choice.
- The winner of the contest will be determined by the most number of likes, comments and shares on facebook during the month May 2015.
- The deadline for submitting your story is May 31st 2015.
- The contest ends May 31st 2015
- The pet story will be published as soon as it is reviewed. Hence the sooner the story is submitted the better. (Possibly more chances to win.)
- The contest winner becomes pet of the month May 2015
