Never Punish your Cat:

Cats take time in learning the thing and being a train. Training cat needs patience. Punishing cat is not a good practice and can lead towards cat’s health problem. While training cats be patient and remember cats are not a human being they do not have common senses. They take time in learning things.

Award them with treat:

To train you cat’s basics is not at all a hectic task. With the help of right attitude and treats, you and your cat both can enjoy training.

Cat basic Training:

Following are some of the basics that every domestic cat should be a train of after buying.

•           Training for Litter Box

Training cat for the litter box is not a difficult task. Just fix a place for the litter box in a house and after eating every meal put the cat in litter box until she starts pooping inside the litter box. If she poops outside the litter box put her poop in the litter box in front of her. After few days, your cat will know that she has to discard her waste in the litter box.

•           Shaping Behaviour:

Train your cat well by eliminating all the irritating things. Cat masters are aware of the fact that eating food can be annoying if you have an untrained cat. Every time you sit on a table and all of a sudden, you feel cat’s nose on your lap or a cat sitting under the table waiting for scraps. To avoid such situation, train the cat to eat a meal in her box instead of looking at master’s meal.

•           Discouraging Violence:

Discourage the violent behaviour in the cat. While playing if your cat starts scratching and biting stop the cat doing this by making derision sound or clapping. This will make her surprise for a while and as soon it stops just walk away. Every time your cat starts her violence while playing, do this. After some time she will simply stop being violent.

•           Train cat with what every you want:

You can train your cat with whatever you want. You can also train your cat to do some tricks as if dogs like to sit, come, stay and leave it.

•           Train cat for leash:

Travelling of a pet owner without his/her pet is not a good option to consider as no one can take care of your pet as you can. Your pet is attached to you and you are well familiar with their daily routine so it is better to accompany your pet especially cat or a dog with you. While travelling with your pet there are chances that your pet may lose so before travelling train your cat for the leash.
