The question as to whether a pet is allowed to eat such and such a meal is a common one among most pet owners. If you are a responsible pet owner, you are aware that excessive people foods can have a negative impact on your pet. However, there are some human foods that you can add to the meal of your dog without any worries. Here is a description of some of the top people foods that pets can eat.

1. Yogurt

Calcium and protein can easily be sourced from yogurt. The best of this is one that is free of sweeteners but is rich in live active bacteria. Go for fat-free yogurt in case your pet is pudgy. In summer conditions, your dog will surely love frozen yogurt.

2. Flax seed

You can get omega-3 fatty acids from this. These are good in giving your pet a healthy skin and coat. This kind of fat has the ability of quickly going rancid thus the need to ground them first before given to the pet. Flax oil has a high content of omega-3 fatty acid with no fibre. Use a fridge to store the seeds.

Vitamin C, vitamin K, fibre and manganese can be sourced from green beans. Has your pet been putting on weight? Consider replacing the usual diet with green beans. It has a low calorie level and will help maintain a considerable weight.

7. Eggs

You can get any digestible riboflavin, protein and selenium from the eggs. Dogs that occasionally experience digestive upsets will be given a protein boost by the eggs. It is a healthy thing to add eggs to the meal of your pet. Just be careful that the eggs are cooked because raw eggs may lead to biotin deficiency. Pets that join you in your vigorous training will enjoy a treat of well cooked eggs before the next training class.
