Wondering "Aboot" Pet Insurance in Canada?
Are you wondering about pet insurance in Ontario, Canada - or just wondering about Canadian pet insurance in general? Read on my friends! In this post I'll highlight a few notable services, along with the notable pet insurance foes.
I have heard of many veterinarian nightmares with regard to associated costs that are just downright criminal – but, unfortunately there isn’t really any solid cost regulations with regard to how much veterinarian services can charge, so it’s best to go in with your forces armed! Make sure you do your research and certainly learn about and consider insurance for your pet. Canadian pet insurance could save you a whole whack of cash when it comes to getting your cuddly buddy the help that it may need.
You certainly want to be informed when considering what Canadian pet insurer you are going to go with. While there aren’t nearly as many pet insurance services in Canada as there are in the United States, the American based website www.petinsurancereview.com still provides us Northerners with some helpful information. * Pets Plus Us has a perfect rating – but is a very new company in comparison to the others with only 10 customer reviews, so I ranked it second. In my opinion 2173 reviews trumps 10 any day!
Knowing the dirt certainly can’t hurt!
Here’s the companies you need to watch out for – because even though they might be well advertised because they’re backed by huge corporations, that doesn’t mean that they’re worth much!
Pet Care came out at second last with a 4.9 and PC Financial came out at the bottom with a 4.4! Although, for these rating information wasn’t available on how many customers ranked them. So, it is of course possible that these statistics are unbalanced – but, either way it’s always important to do your research, talk to your vet and of course to do what’s best for your loving companion.
