This Is Why We Love Our Pets
August 12, 2020

During the pandemic lockdown, many of us have got closer to our pets. Who knew that was possible! When you spend more time at home with your pets, the bond only grows stronger.
For those of you working from home who have affectionate, attention-seeking pets, you’ll understand how difficult it is for your dog or cat to grasp the concept of nine-to-five. Some people set boundaries and sequester themselves in a quiet room with a closed door and others fully embrace the extra love and attention.
Eric and Ollie
A first-time cat owner living in England has found a way to adapt to working from home, while managing the demands of his beautiful cat, Eric – a Chinchilla Silver Persian. He just goes with the flow! If Eric wants to sit on his head or rest on his shoulders, that’s fine with him!
Eric is one of two cats, the other a Ginger Exotic Shorthair by the name of Ollie. Though both cats are affectionate and love being around their humans, Eric never leaves his owner’s side. Whether he’s cooking, working, or sleeping, Eric will find a way to attach himself to his owner. The bond between these two has is quite extraordinary and has only strengthened during lockdown.
Eric is playful and extremely attentive and in tune with his owners. He loves to play with Ollie, but mostly he loves belly rubs and snuggling. For a first-time cat owner, this man has found the experience quite remarkable and he’s embraced every minute of it.

For the Love of Pets
Pets are capable of the most extraordinary things and perhaps one of the most remarkable is when they change a person’s life. Take the case of Bobby Humphreys, a former bodybuilder who found himself at rock bottom after the collapse of his 17-year marriage to the love of his life.
After agreeing to care for his friend’s chihuahua, Lady, while she was away for a few days, Humphreys’ life changed for the better. Lady made such an impression on Humphreys that he changed his mind about silly, little lap dogs and decided to turn his life around by helping stray chihuahuas. He formed the Big Guy LIttles World sanctuary and has devoted his life to rescuing these adorable canines.
