Cats are naturally friendly and loving creature of God, they have very clever instincts to find out things hidden under the ground. So, they usually caught digging the grounds to discover new things to play and eat. Such an interactive behavior is usually interesting to watch and one will be fascinated with the magical wisdom of the cat. Cats are naturally immune to dig, hunt and watch out for their food.
Reason behind digging:
Do not wonder whenever you see a kitten or a cat digging the ground, as they have natural urge to this action. There might be many other reasons behind this action that forces this cute little furry creature to knead or dig. One of the interesting and quite sophisticated acts of cat is that they will be digging out to hide their mess or natural waste (urine) from the other pet companions. This is really a sturdy ancient instinct of cat that is praised by the masters. Even when cats walk on hard and rough surfaces, scratching or digging the floor can be observed as they are immune to this behavior and it also tells how subterranean the sense they pertains. One more reason which may force the cats to dig is the sense of smell. They have strong smell instinct as well which help them hunt, prey. They will be observed digging rabbit holes as well as snake holes in the gardens to enjoy a delicious treat. For these reasons cats usually knead their paws to sharpen their nails that will help in digging. In such a clever way the cats get rid of the dead superficial layer of their paws and also mark their region by leaving behind both a illustration mark and a smell.
Digging instructions:
Masters should instruct their cats to dig freely as it’s their natural or genetic instinct but there must be some point to teach the cat to avoid damage to your living area. As they can harm your bed, cushions, sofa and other such stuff that can be torn easily while scratch habits. They seems to be cute are little lovely pets but sometimes they become naturally wild at heart because of this habit.
· Firstly, carefully observe the stuff that cat usually dig or scratch. That might be coarse, nubby or textured surfaces and also the stuff in which they can sink their claws. They usually prefer to dig after the nap time when they feel themselves quite energetic.
· After observing their digging behavior, you should teach the cat to dig in the particular region of the house in order to avoid damage in your living area.
· Lastly, one should make a pet house near the main entrance so that after the nap when the cat feels the urgency to scratch, it can go to the particular location identified by the master
Digging is not only a fun phenomenon for cats but also a natural instinct to discover new things. So, master should treat them with love and teach them effectively without harming their inborn instinct.
