Famed Animals in Entertainment | Pet Celebrities

From prestigious dog shows to famous pet stars like Babe, animals have been just as hot in the entertainment industries as some of our most famed human stars!!  Perhaps it’s their endearing tricks and antics, or just simply the fact that we humans can’t help but get all soft and gushy over cute fuzzy creatures.  Either way, one thing is for certain animals can be celebrities too and we’ve taken a moment to round up some of the most famed of famous pets and animal shows in the entertainment industries.

Popovich Comedy Pet Theatre

First up we have the world acclaimed comedy pet theatre introduced by the one and only Gregory Popovich!  The theatre is located in the heart of entertainments finest districts – Las Vegas.  The theatre is so well known and respected that it’s been brought to the stages of big named talk shows like Letterman and the Tonight Show and has made appearance on America’s got Talent and of course Animal Planet.

Bubbles the Chimp | Part of the Jackson Clan

With the superbowl having just passed and Beyonce’s half time show presentation bringing Micheal Jackson centered conversations back to the surface of the internet, it seemed appropriate to add Bubbles the Chimp to this list.  Bubbles was Jackson’s beloved pet that was rescued by Jackson from cancer research labs when he was just a meager three years old.

Spuds MacKenzie | Always Attracting All of the Bud Ladies

Spuds was perhaps the KING of animal entertainment in the 80’s posing in famed ads as the Budweiser front dog.   Scandal broke out though and the world began gossiping when it was publicized that Spuds was actually a she dog after having been presented as a he dog for so long.

Wishbone (Soccer) | Resonating With 80’s Kids Always

Soccer was a well-known pooch in the entertainment industry having starred in several high end commercials for Nike and pet brands like Mighty Dog dog food.   But, this little guy was best known for his incredible tricks and acting as Wishbone in the well watched PBS special during the 90’s.

Grumpy Cat | Because Bieber Wasn’t the Only Talent Discovered Online

Of course, we can’t forget those animal stars that have graced the pages of many Internet entertainment browsing.  There’s probably no animal as famed as one and only Grumpy cat.  He’s best known for well, being grumpy, frowning and just overall being an ornery cat. If only it were so easy for us mere humans to get publicity!
